Quantum entanglement, a valuable quantum resource, can be exploited in quantum systems for its potential applications in Quantum technologies, including Quantum computing and communications. The system under consideration consists of two magnetic dipoles in individual harmonic traps, interacting via anisotropic dipole-dipole interactions. The dipole-dipole interaction couples the internal (spin) and external (number states of the harmonic trap) degrees of freedom. The objective of this research is to use the dipole-dipole interaction to generate the entanglement between the dipoles, either mediated by internal or external degrees of freedom. The entanglement is quantified using von Neumann entropy. Depending on the choice of system parameters, the resulting entanglement is encoded in spatial or spin degrees of freedom. This control enables the selective preparation of spin-entangled or motion-entangled states. The tunability of external parameters to create highly entangled states makes our system a promising candidate for a highly controllable system, relevant to quantum technological applications.en_US
