Transport of charged ions is vital for cellular survival. The required amount of ions for cellular systems is fulfilled through the membrane-embedded protein channels. Inspired by the function of ion transport and therapeutics associated with them, we have developed a library of novel synthetic transporters by using indole carboxamide as a central scaffold.en_US
