Theory for Activism is an attempt at understanding the role of theory in informing and illuminating activism and its ability to transform social reality. The objective of this study is to determine whether a conceptual model can be developed to understand activism. After tracing different existing theories of social action and agency, from humanism to post post post-positivist realism, one can begin to ask whether activism can be grounded in theory.en_US
