dc.description.abstractLead halide perovskites (LHPs) constitute a promising semiconductor category for applications in photovoltaics (PV) and light-emitting diodes (LEDs) due to their versatile and readily adjustable optical properties. This thesis introduces an innovative approach to the Ligand Assisted Reprecipitation method employed for the synthesis of Perovskite Nanocrystals, utilizing a Methylamine/Acetonitrile compound solvent system. Additionally, a comprehensive overview of existing nanocrystal synthesis techniques, their advantages and limitations, is presented, along with a Discussion of the characterization methods employed in their analysis. The low-temperature and easily scalable nature of this method offers an alternative to high-temperature perovskite nanocrystal synthesis. This work successfully demonstrates the synthesis of stable and highly luminescent Perovskite Red and Green Nanocrystals, elucidating their properties through optical spectroscopy and showcasing their applicability in Light Emitting devices. Furthermore, the thesis contributes a streamlined device architecture for a functional Red Perovskite LED. This readily scalable approach holds significant promise for industrial applications, and the thesis also outlines the future prospects for achieving operational Green and Blue Perovskite LEDs.en_US
