In this project I have tried to characterize representative soil types of India based on their cation exchange capacity in relation to other physical and chemical parameters. The samples for the measurement are collected from different locations across India. Various parameters like organic matter content, pH, clay percentage are measured along with the exchangeable cation concentrations to find any meaningful relation that may exist between them.en_US
